• Professional dog groomers aged 18 or over
• Three years' grooming experience or a recognised grooming diploma
• Salon-based, mobile and home-based groomers
• Sole traders and limited companies
• Grooming trainers
• Dog walkers, maximum five dogs at any one time
• Home boarders, maximum two dogs at any one time

Business types

• High-street and commercial salons
• Mobile groomers working from vans and trailers
• Home-based groomers and garden-room studios
• Grooming trainers and academies
• Groomers who also walk or home board within the stated limits
